  2. thetechzonelive Says:

wordpress isn’t a windows media file. The file you saw was one the videos I had recorded for this final copy. (that video didn’t turn out so well)

Now wordpress did something were you have to manually create the configuration.php file and idk how :(

  4. thetechzonelive Says:

you need to set index.php to 777 while you are installing then revert it back to 755.

  5. TheFallenLegacy Says:

Oh ok I will try that but do you know what the ftp host and username/pass is for wordpress? Because I already have a WordPress blog and I couldn’t ftp to it because I dont know the host (I want to add themes to it)

  7. thetechzonelive Says:

i tried it several times with 2.8.6 version. it drops me error every time i go try to go in my url. it doesn’t work for me , but i need that blog to be up in this weekend.

if the error sais you need to create a configuration file, then you need to set your public_html to 777, create it, then set it back to 755 in the CHmod Settings. What is the link so I can see the error?

Nice, I had to upload the files ‘individually after extract. By the way you have to change the ‘wp-config-???.php’ to wp-config.php otherwise it will give you an error, well when doing the install it will tell you to do that. :)

I just installed mine but now I have to configure it so that it suits my needs :)
Take a look here: still crappy aguilarpro(.)site11(.)com

  12. scientist100 Says:

@thetechzonelive I didn’t have to do this O.o I just extracted the wordpress files and uploaded them individually in the root directory folder :) Worked nicely, I just had to rename the file that was giving me an error and used the code they gave me :)
    Thanks for this :)
