Free Premium Social Media WordPress Theme: WicketPixie

chris.pirillo.com – you can see the latest version live on my own blog and live page. Trust me, if you run WordPress on your own server, you’re going to want to start using WicketPixie as soon as it’s released.

This is really sweet…!! Only thing I hope for is that it would include language files for easier localization…!? But I’d love to try it out anyway…

This is an amazing theme, and it is definitely something that I may write a few modules for.

    I have a few ideas!

Chris, this is awesome. One suggestion, put the camera on your face sometime. Watching the back of your head talk in the window isn’t as interesting as seeing your face. :)

I LOVE wicketpixie! The dogs AND the theme! ;) I am really looking forward to the release! I favorited this video to have it to refer to when I install it and start configuring.

Excellent theme. I know how difficult it is to tap all those networks in (granted, for new themes for me it’s just copy and paste a block of text, but originally it was seriously taxing), so to see such a complete and fleshed out theme for free is amazing.

Perhaps the next stage would be to develop it as a plugin as well, so it’s template-fest so people can keep their themes. Despite how good WicketPixie looks, I doubt I’ll drop Freshy for it without demo-ing it first.

Is it just me or has the latest Word Press upgrade made this theme a little buggy? Of course it could be that I’m a Noob as well, but I can’t get a single thing to work unless I hack the code by hand.

  18. corotimbues Says:

I’m using wp 2.7. I’d like to use this theme, do you think it’s going to work well? Does this guy updates the template on a regular basis?

  19. dahdean Says:

I know I’m a knucklehead, but this theme is not WP 2.7 friendly. Pls correct me.

  20. GibberishLanguage Says:

I concur… the faves are stuck at default and the WordPress Plugins don’t fully support it… as for 2.7
