Fantastico Installation to WordPress Blog In Cpanel

Part one covered buying a Domain Name, Changing the Name Servers and adding your new Domain Name to your self hosting account. If you missed part one you can review it by clicking here. So now you have a new folder in the back office of your Cpanel control panel and you are ready to actually install your WordPress Blog onto your domain name. Once you have completed this part of the task you will access your blog through the WordPress Admin log in and away you go with your first post if you want to. Step Four: By far the easiest way in which to install WordPress onto your blog is using the FANTASTICO smiley face software which is built into your Cpanel for you. So here we go with the next part of your blog installation :- Now you have the basic WordPress Blog added to your domain name and your next task will be to customize it to suit your own particular style and brand name or business. I have opted to use the Thesis Theme which is a paid for Theme but there are plenty available from WordPress that are completely free. The Thesis theme was a recommended one from Mike Dillard’s Trrafic Formula 2.0 course and I found it very good for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) rankings. Step Five: This video shows you how to upload the Thesis Theme which I downloaded as a Zip file to my hard drive.
